40 inch dozer.... Is that JL's Tonka? I saw it in clifton NJ once
im only aware of RK's steering components and Synergy. I will say that synergy has been doing it longer. Their stuff is also cheaper.
You wont read any complaints about synergy anywhere. I havent.
Pzniv. yes that is me and the JL Tonka.
Rexx19. thank u. I have bin having some trouble with the steering for months now. I checked all my tierods and I have a little play in both ends of the draglink and in the tierod bar. Tonka needs a few odds and ends. im trying to hang in there and get her back to normal. :)
Im a fan of your rig. I saw it at jeeps and java.
Im on board with the synergy parts. Id install them before RK's kit.
thank u . :). im hopefully going to get these parts soon. When I do I will def post some pics of the install and our (JL) opinion on how easy or difficult it was and how it has made the vehicle feel .
Roll her into the garage! Ill stick on decals while you do the real work....LOL
synergy parts are ordered but im waiting for two peices that are on back order. great customer service though. made the purchase as smooth as smooth can be. as soon as I see the parts I will be rolling tonka into the JL garage .

What other stuff is in there strengthing the drive train turning those 40s?
the tubes are sleeved with cromolly sleeves . I beleive they are from Synergy as well. And the gearing is 5.38s with my 6 speed manual trans. Tonka still has stock axles at the moment and she has broke the rear ones one time . which has bin replaced and is all brand new now. Its only a 3.5 lift on her so I have a tom woods front shaft and the rear is stock as of now. she has alot of get up and go with this setup but it would be nice to add some trussing to beaf up the rears and get some axles too.
Parts have arrived. As soon as I get a break from work and a warmer day they will be instailled.
