    37s with 4.88s and SC?

So give us the scoop on what components fit best.

Im starting with a JKUR. Budget has the space for tires, lift and Supercharger.

I thought for fun I'd get the SC first. I wanted to feel the difference before weighing it down with big tires, steel bumpers etc.

I want to go to 4.88s only because thats what I read everywhere.

    What do you guys think?

heres where we come out on this.

Do the SC before Gearing. It will change the way you feel about the big tires.

If you have 4.10s, stick with them, wait to gear for last. Others will disagree, but Black Betty is not geared, and we have had the gears here for a YEAR. She cruises at 90 mph with her 37s at about 2500 rpm.

Got a 7 hour road trip? no prob with her gearing. She is not exhausiting to drive long distances.

with the Rubi 4 to 1 transfer case, you will still have plenty of crawl factor for creeping around off road.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm So the SC kinda neutralizes the need for new gears?

That kinda makes the SuperCharger seem cheaper by about $1500.

That is a brilliant way to look at it. If you have 4.10s, and SC you really can run 37s without new gears.

And you will be able to cruise at higher speeds.

Ill report back after install to tell you if I agree with your position.

I dont see how more power will make the gears less important.

Maybe with 4.10s its still good, but with 4.88s, it could be REALLY GOOD.

If we are wrong, tell us, we have a set of 4.88s here that are not installed because we love the way the truck drives.

    Make sure to report back!
