Black Betty's are cut.
Funny story,
They were cut in rausch creek PA. We were about to hit the trail, and someone told me i was risking the tires.
I didnt like the sound of that, So out comes the dremel.
Trimmed? Bashed with a hammer?
Push the axle back?
What was your solution to the big tire conundrum?

Mine fresh cut and sharp edges filed. A bit of jb weld and then paint should do it!
Anyone do this with a hammer?
Im told you should bash them in, you preserve the integrity and keep moisture out.
I've seen them hammered. Its not a clean look and I'm not convinced it does more to preserve integrity than JB Weld...which is very strong.Originally Posted by Yoinkers

Did you do that with the wheel off? I can't imagine how you could get enough swing to bend it that much, unless the wheel came off. Is that a stock Ruby rail with another tube welded on it? or something aftermarket?Here is tonka's pinch seam.

Here's mine before removing the wheel liner and flattening my factory fenders. When my new lift comes in I will take the trim up a little further and make it a little nicer.

Thats a well done pinch seam. I dont think you need to do anymore to it. I wouldnt cut too much body.
