I dont know wich battery is best, but nemesis industries makes a 2 battery cradle for the jk, thats pretty sweet.
Think the OEM battery just died in my 2013 JKUR. Nothing crazy going on electronically or power-wise pretty much stock, and will stay that way other than that I Plan to add forced induction.
I have had bad experiences with Optima, and my old FJ40 mechanic advised me to steer clear of Optimas especially for 4x4s.
I know Genesis and Die Hard AGM are very popular.
I was thinking of getting an Interstate Mega-Tron, but want to see if there is a Lab favorite? I did not see any battery threads.

The "Sears Diehard Platinum" battery is supposed to be phenomenal. So good, we can't even get it up here in Canada yet.
Thanks HaHaJK, I may have a loose ground or some other issue as well, so the JKUR went to my mechanic who deals Interstate. I will probably go with an Interstate AGM (if they make one of the JKU), or a Mega-Tron 6-year.
Just had to ask the "Lab" because I know how big everyone here is on hardcore testing.
If you don't have extra electrical accessories and you use the vehicle in a "typical" way (driven frequently, not stored for long periods of time, not used in extreme climates), to me it is as simple as purchasing a battery that meets/exceeds the OEM specs from a trusted manufacturer with a warranty at a good price.
I should be good with an Interstate or similar quality OEM replacement.
The only issue we have is extreme heat most of the year.
Thanks Pickles!

Are people running out of power? what is the second battery for?
I would speculate that many Jeepers run a dual battery setup for the added draw of accessories such as: winches, lights, CB, sound system, refrigerator, etc.
My intention was just to make sure there was not a "golden" replacement battery for OEM that I was unaware of.

Ended up having an Interstate 48/H6 MT5 AGM installed.
