      I agree, but is tough to budget paying for stuff you cant see and are not sure you need. I bought ball joints expecting them to be part of the problem, turned out that my stock Ball joints were rock solid. They are a long install $700 was a quote i got. That plus the cost of the goods, makes a ball joint change an expensive an perhaps unneccessary change. Think of all the stuff you could spend 1k on.
